2nd grade had just started when we moved and I came from Hawthorne School to Trumbull.  Mrs. Norton made this kid feel welcomed and comforted.  As most teachers did at the time, Mrs. Norton played the piano and I remember we sang a lot of Broadway show tunes.  God bless you, Mrs. Norton, wherever you are.
