horrible memories

I went here in the early 1990's and this school sucked! The students only cared about sex and getting into fights. The teachers only cared getting paid. I hope this place has improved since then.

i went to school there from 84-87 and i thought it was in ok school for being in the inner city,i had no problems there whats so ever,i actually miss it and was thinking about coming back to chicago for a vist,i am currently living in missouri now.

i went to joan arai in 1976to 79.I started there one year after it opened. Was better then the school i came from. Of course it was a new school then. I can't speak for how it is now. The school was alright then. Although the music class was a waste of money. We'd spend an hour listening to the music teachers 5000.00 stereo system. IMy home teacher miss sample was awesome though. BEst teacher i ever had.now it's 30 years later. the library was cool. Everyhting seemed modern.The swimming pool was cool. I disliked the science. Was the hardest class to me. Bye now.

I was a student from 1975 to '77. I remember being in Mr. Frazier's home room. I don't remember many of the teachers' names but I have mostly good memories of the school and my class.
