Thank You Miss Guerra!

During my time at Carpenter I had some great teachers Ms. Holmes, Ms. Krueger, Ms. Jones, Ms. Duffy,  but one teacher  that really stands out is Ms. Guerra my fourth grade teacher.  She really knew how to get across to the students.  I remember Ms. Guerra walking through the hallways with the meanest look on her face.  Her students walked in complete attention.  Boy was I scared!  I was extremely nervous entering her class that September of the fourth grade.  What I discovered was a fantastic teacher who was totally dedicated to her students.  I discovered a sweet, strong, brilliant woman who truly loved her students. I learned so much in her class and enjoyed every minute.  I even enjoyed learning division, imagine that.  That is also the year I realized how much I love the stage.  We did a stage production about Uncle Sam and the Statue of Liberty...what fun!  I was a star...I played Uncle Sam...great memories 4th grade.  Thank you Ms. Guerra!
