Two of the most dedicated teachers at Schurz High School when I was a student there where Miss Levickas and Ms. Whiting. Both teachers were outstanding at what they did best...TEACH. But most of all, they cared about their students. I was a troubled teen in my junior year and both teachers made an effort to help me get through those 'tough' times and taught me that I didn't have to give up. Miss Levickas would pack me a lunch EVERYDAY and Ms. Whiting showed me that English Literature was not as hard as I thought and that I actually did understand Shakespeare. It's because of teachers like them, that I able to give school a second chance and actually move on and do something with myself. I will never forget them and I wish more teachers were as dedicated as they were.
