football games and home comings

I'll never forget the fun football games and home comings at Schurz. We would all decorate floats for the big home coming game. We had cheerleaders and pom pom girls there to support our team. Our Schurz band would be there to play at half time and the big announcement for home coming Queen and Princess. Our home coming dance was in the big gym. This is one of my favorite memories of my days at Schurz.
