Back in the day, after football practice with coaches Zimba and Fontana, we would walk through the tunnel to go out and then to come in from practice. I knew then that walking through that tunnel would be a memory that would last.

I knew, too, that I would remember that we forfeited our last game at half time because the pom pon girls refused to get off the field.

In fairness the Steinmetz player who was over me was bigger, faster, smarter, and stronger than I was. I took him down once because I slipped and managed to trip him up. Then I thought I could roll block him, but no dice. That guy was took me apart so I wasn't so upset about the forfeit.
