I spent four of the best years of my life at the "Du." Ihad so much fun playing sports and going to class. I have even developed lasting friendships with my best friend Yumika, and with some of the teachers there. Mrs. ollie Neal and Mr. Tony Resendez (RIP) were the two most influential people to ever come into my life. I am grateful for Ms. Hazel Strong who introduced me to a wonderful woman by the name of Ms. Joyce Gibson. If not for these four people, and my great family, I would not be the strong, independant and strongwilled woman I am today. There are some other teachers from DuSable that were influential to me as well, Ms. Iris Atkins, Dr. Dillingham, Mr. Perry, Mr. Stampley, Dr. Mingo, Dr. Hamberlin, and many others.
I'm quite sure many of my fellow classmates can share in my memories of DuSable high school.
