2nd Grade

When I was in 2nd grade Ms. Helper was my teacher and she said the reason why her last name was Helper was because she loved to Help people.  It was around the time for Easter and we had went to lunch and when we got back he saw that the window was open and that there was a big basket of items for all of us and at the time we really thought the Easter Bunny really came and brought us the basket but now I know better.  Anyway that was a great treat she did for us that year.  She also did many other thing with us which I never did experience until I was in her class.  For Hallween she made us some pumpkin seeds and we also went bobbing for apples.  I really do miss her and wished I did have her as a teacher for other grades.

Ms. Murry

Ms. Murry was my 5th grade teacher and she was a great teacher who cared about her students.  I use to go to the little building for LD classes and I would leave after lunch every day.  The upper classmen would always make fun of me everyday at lunch and I really don't know why.  This one day they really got to me to the point I started crying after they left the lunch room and I went over to the little building but didn't go into my LD class because I was so hurt about what the upper classmen was saying about me.  The LD teacher wrote a note to Ms. Murry and I went back to the big building and stood out side the room for a while then I don't remember if someone came out and saw me crying and went back and told or if I just went in but Ms. Murry and me pull a chair up by her table/desk and she talked to me for a long time.  From that day I had a diffrent view on everything and I just want to thank her for having that talk with me because that talk really did change me for the rest of my life.

My favorite teacher

My favorite teacher was Mrs. Ramsey. She was my fourth grade teacher and I thought she was the best thing that ever happened to me. She took time with her students and often had us participate in after school activities. I graduated in 1973 and I remember that she was having a baby and she didn't come back that year. She was a remarkable teacher and I wish I could tell her that I tried to follow her footsteps and became a teacher as well.
