About West Division High School

West Division High School opened in the Skinner School Building in
1875. It moved to a new building at Morgan and Monroe in 1879, and to
another new building at Lincoln and Congress in 1887. In 1901 it moved
again to 2040 West Adams and was renamed McKinely High School.
