About Tuley High School

Students were originally accommodated within Columbus School before moving into the new building for Northwest Division High School in 1892. The south section of this building (old Northwest Division High School) was destroyed by fire on February 6, 1938. A new addition opened on September 5, 1939.

Tuley High School closed in 1974 in preparation to move to New Tuley High School, renamed Clemente High School. The building reopened as Tuley Middle School in 1975.

Class of 70 Talent contests at Tuley High

I don't remember who took the pictures but they were also published in our year book.

We played for our classmates during the Tuley High School talent contests. They were some great memories! We also used to play regularly in the lunch room during the "sock hop" days! Wow, are we getting younger or what!? I'm the bass player on the far left. Still play but not as much.

I attended Tuley High School before we went to the brand new high school named after the famous baseball player, Roberto Clemente. The class of 1975 was the very first class to graduate from that high school in that year. The school was clean, new and very beautiful.
