About Farragut High School

Farragut Elementary School first opened in 1894 but was joined to a high school in 1910. The school became Farragut Junior High School in 1925 until Farragut High School opened again in 1934. Since 1983, the school has been known as David G. Farragut Career Academy.

My favorite teacher was Mr. Ackerman the Band Instructor. He was strict and confident as a music Instructor.I played the saxophone.
