About Chicago Vocational Career Academy (CVCA)

Opened as Chicago Vocational High School in 1940, commonly known has CVS. In 1941, the Navy took over the brand new building and CVS was moved to the Westcot building at 8023 South Normal Avenue. 1946 the Navy vacated and Chicago Vocational returned.

BY NOW MOST OF U HAVE HEARD ABOUT THE 5 PEOPLE THAT WERE KILLED LAST WEEK. WELL 1 OF THEM WAS A CVS GRAduate. HE WAS IN THE CLASS OF '99. SO TO THOSE THAT NEW HIM HIS FUNERAL WIL BE AT GATLINGS ON SAT.
