About Bell, Alexander G. Bell Elementary School

Alexander Graham Bell (1847-1922): Born in Edinburgh. In 1868 he went to Kensington, England to adapt visible speech to the deaf. He opened a private normal school in Boston in 1872, was appointed professor of vocal physiology in the School of Oratory at Boston University, and developed the phonautograph, multiple telegraph, and telephone.

Bell student '56-'59

Swung by Bell last fall while in town for HS reunion. Attended AGB K thru 3 (1956-59); lived @2448 W. Dakin. Family moved to 'burbs middle of the school year, a week or so before Christmas.
