About Beidler, Jacob Beidler Elementary School

The school originally took its name from its proximity to Central park, between Humboldt Park on the North and Douglas Park on the South in the West Side System of Parks. After the assassination of President Garfield, Central Park became Garfield Park.

Years at Beidler

I never forgot my time at Beidler, it was great. The teachers who were there at the time appeared to be really concerned about our education and home life. My 4th and 5th grade teacher, Ms. Sharon Frazier was my absolute favorite, but I liked them all. Great appreciation for Ms.  Johnson, 1st grade; Ms. Nichols, 2nd grade; Ms. Hale, 3rd grade; Ms. Frazier 4th and 5th.

Thankful for Great Teachers

I am so glad that I found this website..... I have longed to find how to attempt to talk to people from the school... I came to Beilder from Mississippi.... It was a hard adjustment at first, but I will never forget those teachers that made a really big impact on the person i am today.... My first teacher when i came there was Mrs. Walker...

A lifetime Experience

As an adult I have to say that the years spent at Jacob Beidler have instilled values that I hold dear to me everyday. From being a Recess Leader to Partol Guard taught me to value my job and be responsible. I know as a color guard I was really serious about representing Jacob Beidler at assemblys.
