Adding Schools at Registration

When you first register, you must select at least one school you attended to be your default school. You also have the option, at that time, of adding other schools you attended to your account. If you do not sign up for all of your schools during registration, they can be added later.

Adding Schools Later

If you would like to add a school to your account after registration, you have two options.

1. Go to the All -Schools Index. Locate the school you would like to add, and click on the "add to my schools” link found to the right of each school's listing.

2. Go to the CPSalumni.org home page of the school you want to add to your account. On the right hand side of the page, just above the photo of the graduates, you will find a link that says “add to my schools”. Click that link and it will direct you to add the school. (It will ask you to confirm this option)

Remvoing Schools From Your Account

Go to the CPSalumni.org home page of the school you want to remove from your account. On the right hand side of the page, just above the photo of the graduates, you will find a link that says "Remove this school from your profile". Click that link and it will direct you to take off the account. (It will ask you twice if you are sure to avoid accidental removals.)

Can’t Find Your School?

There is a unique Home Page and Alumni Forum for every CPS school PreK-12 that has existed. You might find some schools have undergone several name changes. In those instances, we have tried to track and report all of the changes a particular school has undergone and list the school name in its simplest or most common form. In cases where two different schools have used the same name, we have created two different pages. Alumni of these schools may need to investigate which one is their former school.
