What if my school no longer exists?
But it does exist. As long as there are living alumni, your school has a community. You could still have reunions and some classes of schools that have closed do that. Maybe your school building still exists and it just has another name.

In a few instances neither your school building nor your school's name is still active. In those cases you could still have a reunion. Or you could memorialize your school with a scholarship fund that could assist someone in the school's neighborhood. You and/or your classmates could fund a science laboratory or start a band in a school in the old neighborhood; either could carry the old school's name. A rising tide lifts all boats, your investment in any school helps all schools.
