Matching grant

• Lane will receive a $20,000 grant from the Hoellen Foundation IF we can raise the same amount by the end of the school year. ($100 suggested donation)

Targeted Area -Awards

• Advanced Placement Exam reimbursement fund for high scoring students ($83 per exam)
• Teacher incentive grants for small classroom projects ($250)
• Student Awards Account for grades, attendance, community service, art, music, or athletic excellence ($10 - $50 gift cards)
• Staff Awards Account for merit-based accomplishments ($10-$50)

Donations/Programs

• Musical Instruments (new or gently used) for Sinfonietta, Orchestra, Marching and other bands, (including Jazz)
• College Scholarship Fund (donor specifies criteria for scholarship applicants and amount)
• Student Summer Internships

Targeted Area - Physical Plant and Grounds

(NOTE: $100 suggested, money will be used toward completion of listed projects)

• Student lunchroom (new floor, tables and chairs, serving lines and equipment)
• Campus (purchase of benches, heavy-duty garbage cans)
• Memorial Garden (restoration of statues and pools, landscaping)
• WPA Art (electronic devices to enable community to take self-guided tours)
• “Adopt a classroom” (program to equip each classroom with a computer, printer, TV/VCR/DVD and cart; LCD projector and wall screen)
• Beautification (large plants, glass display cases, shelving for trophies)
• Outdoor student eating area (umbrella picnic tables and chairs)
• Interior building signage (directional signs, maps, name plates)
