Among a myriad of talents, Isha Edwards is an idea catalyst for individuals and organizations across 12 industries including music, media, fashion, film, academia, professional services, and small business administration. Isha is Class of 1990 alum of Von Steuben MSC High School. She holds a degree in business management from University of Illinois at Chicago, has 14 years of experience in business education and more than 17 years of experience working with corporate and nonprofit organizations.
As an entrepreneur, Isha is known for her role as the brand marketing manager and owner of EPiC Measures, LLC (EM). Through EM, Isha has garnered notoriety in small business commerce, media, and music in Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles and New York. From working with Grammy award-winning artist, Usher Raymond’s New Look to volunteering as a guest instructor for the U.S. Small Business Administration in Atlanta and an advisor for the Branson School of Entrepreneurship in South Africa, Isha’s reach is as broad as it is deep.
Earlier this year, Isha was recognized by the Chic Entrepreneur as “Chic of the Week” March 9-15. She was also a featured business woman in the July 2009 edition of Pink Ladders. During Women’s History month 2007, Isha was named a “Phenomenal Woman” by Chicago based 360° of Entertainment Heat. Isha's accomplishments have been highlighted in New York based, The Industry Cosign as well as via American Express’ OPEN Forum ®.
An advocate for social responsibility in media, Isha uses her position to influence business leaders and content creators to further positive change in society particularly among youth and young adults. One such initiative lead Isha to assist with a marketing dissertation addressing Hip Hop's influence on marketing, brands and urban culture (European School of Economics).
