GOOD NEWS PROMPTS CHANGE OF PLANS!

Over 165 classmates, spouses and significant others have committed to attend the Reunion.  Many will be there from October 8, 2010 to October 10, 2010.

Your Reunion Committee recognized that the projected turnout required a larger facility, with more entertainment options, to avoid turning down classmates and others who want to attend and rekindle or establish friendships.  The Location Committee was able to find a nearby larger space providing enough room for our anticipated attending classmates, their spouses or significant others and members of other Fenger classes who have expressed a desire to attend.  The price will remain the same: $80.00 per person for dinner on Saturday night, October 9, 2010.

Our new location is two blocks away from the originally selected site.  We are still in the conveniently located Oak Brook area.  The Saturday night October 9, 2010 event will be at:

There are two attached hotels, the Hilton Suites and the Hilton Garden Inn.  We have booked a block of 30 rooms at the Hilton Suites at the group discount rate of $95 per night based upon double occupancy, without complimentary breakfast.  The weekend of October 8-10, 2010 is scheduled for the Chicago Marathon and this hotel usually fills up that weekend and, like all Chicago area hotels, will raise rates as that weekend approaches.  Within the next ten days the Hilton Suites sales staff will create a web site for our group allowing you to make reservations online.  We urge you to do so quickly.  If you would prefer to call for reservations, ask for the Group Discount Rate for the Fenger 1960 Class Reunion banquet. Curious about who has committed to attend?  We are attaching by email and including by mail a list of classmates who have made payments to attend.  If you do not see someone on the list of attendees who should be attending or wants to attend, call or write that classmate as soon as possible to make payment and commit to attend.  An up-to-date list of the contact information of all classmates we have located is located at:
