I'm from the class of June

I'm from the class of June 1959.  My 8th grade teacher was Mrs Lipofsky.  The first day of school she made a point of saying how her name was written.  Se said "I am  Lip Of Sky, very close to heaven."  Strange how different things stay in our heads.

I remember Miss Lipofsky

I remember Miss Lipofsky saying she did not want to see any gym shoe prints on the ceiling. So I made sure I put them there. I will never forget the day she saw them and how she glared around the room while adjusting her bra strap, as she did so often, while looking up. I was the one who liked to do what they saiid not to. Ms Lipofsky was my 1st grade

Ms Lipofsky was my 1st grade teacher 1963-1964....I remember the Lip-of_sky way to remember her!!!  She was a nice teacher....gossh where did the years go???
