2010 Annual Steinmetz Alumni Picnic 6/27

The 2010 Annual Steinmetz Alumni Picnic The Alumni Assoc. has been doing this since 1957-- keep the tradition. This is a FREE event, sponsored by your Steinmetz Alumni Association.
(Donations are accepted!)
Sunday, June 27, 2010, 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
(However, the woods are open till sunset, if you would like to stay
later.)
Visit us for an hour, or all day!
Catherine Chevalier Woods, Grove # 2
East River Road and Bryn Mawr
(Just south of Higgins and the Kennedy)
Chicago, IL 60634

All alumni, family and friends are welcome.
This is a perfect opportunity for you to organize a free reunion for your class.
Teachers do attend and are very welcome!

While there, become a member of the Alumni Association, or join now online!
A large tent, with tables and chairs, port-a-potties and hand washing
stations will be available.  There will be a fresh grilled lunch, with sides, refreshments and ice
cream, available for a fee.
If you prefer, feel free to bring your own chairs, coolers, food, grill
and refreshments. Please, glass beverage containers are not permitted on
Forest Preserve property.  Alcohol is allowed 50 feet away from parking
lot.
We are hoping to have games and events for both children and adults, But
we need some help.  If you would like to volunteer for and hour or more, Or
would like to donate prizes, please let us know.  Email

We need volunteers that can help:
Before the picnic:
Set up of the tables and chairs
Set up of the registration tables
Putting up the signs
And other misc. tasks

During the picnic:
Manning the registration table
Overseeing the games
And other tasks, as needed.

After the picnic:
Folding up the tables and chairs
Packing up the picnic supplies
Taking down the signs
And other misc. tasks.

volunteer.

If you can relieve another volunteer for an hour or two, It will allow
them to visit with their family and friends.

NOTE: Before leaving, you must extinguish all grill fires and dump your
charcoal in the used hot charcoal disposal containers provided. Collect all
your paper debris, bottles and trash and deposit them in the appropriate
containers/bags.

Steinmetz Yearbooks

The Steinmetz Alumni Association has multiple copies of some yearbooks that are available for purchase. There are no extra yearbooks for the Hugh Hefner years.
